- The rapid development of 6G networks brings unprecedented connectivity, speed, and integration of technologies like AI, IoT, and edge computing, but it also introduces new cybersecurity risks. As 6G aims to connect billions of devices with ultra-low latency, the attack surface for malicious actors expands significantly, exposing vulnerabilities to threats like jamming, spoofing, and data privacy breaches. This thesis will investigate the specific security challenges posed by 6G technologies, including the exploitation of AI-driven communication, smart infrastructure, and network slicing. The proposed framework will focus on proactive threat detection and mitigation, leveraging advanced AI algorithms and real-time data analysis to anticipate and neutralize attacks before they cause significant damage. Furthermore, the research will explore defense mechanisms against signal interference and network jamming, which are crucial for ensuring the reliability of 6G's ultra-reliable low-latency communication. This proactive approach will offer a secure 6G infrastructure foundation, ensuring its safe and resilient deployment in future smart cities and critical applications.
