Digital twins generally refer to a virtual (digital) representation of their corresponding physical counterparts. The digital twins can be used to monitor the behavior and activities of the physical object in real-time, and any anomalies or intrusions can be quickly detected and acted upon. The use of blockchain should provide transparency and traceability, making it easier to track and respond to security incidents. In this way, blockchain-enabled digital twins can serve as effective intrusion detection systems, helping to keep the physical object and its data secure.
