The security of digital twins in healthcare is critical as it involves sensitive personal and medical information that needs to be protected from unauthorized access, tampering, and theft. The main motivation for this topic is to understand the security requirements of digital twins in healthcare. Additionally, the healthcare’s digital twin must ensure compliance with industry regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
